- Inspired by the look of well-used vintage cameras, this "Brassing" pencil is treated with a matte black lacquer finish that will wear off over time, exposing the solid brass body underneath.
- Once exposed, the raw brass will also darken and deepen over time. How this patina develops depends on how you use the pencil—the more you sketch with it, the more unique your pencil will become!
- For those who want to take a more hands-on approach to customizing the look of their pencil, it also comes with a sheet of sandpaper that you can use to intentionally remove some or all of black coating.
