Carefully crafted from solid brass, this sketching pencil was designed to remind us of the weight and substance that our words can carry.
Ruggedly built and timelessly elegant, it is made to last a lifetime and be passed on to future generations.
It provides a stable, balanced sketching experience and features a hexagonal shape that harks back to the design of wooden pencils.
As you use it, this pencil will develop a unique patina, telling the story of the hours and ideas you have shared with it.
Inspired by the look of well-used vintage cameras, this "Brassing" pencil is treated with a matte black lacquer finish that will wear off over time, exposing the solid brass body underneath.
Once exposed, the raw brass will also darken and deepen over time. How this patina develops depends on how you use the pencil—the more you sketch with it, the more unique your pencil will become!
For those who want to take a more hands-on approach to customizing the look of their pencil, it also comes with a sheet of sandpaper that you can use to intentionally remove some or all of black coating.
